Companies who sold leads started to spring up online, each one promising that their leads would help you to make money online. Unfortunately many of these leads had simply filled out information to win a free prize and their name was captured by the company as a lead. As a result the lead companies would sell their name and telephone number, they would then be phoned by lots of people trying to persuade them to join their opportunity. Needless to say the conversion rates were very poor and many people who had hoped to make money online, lost lots of money instead through purchasing useless leads and ultimately gave up.
The desire to make money online continues to be strong especially now that gas prices have drastically increased affecting the cost of food and everything else that needs transportation from one place to another.
But don't be downhearted as there are many good opportunities available online if you know where to look. I have found a company that does their marketing in a revolutionary way.
