The biggest downfall that I see is they still require you to go out and find your own customers so you can make money online now.

Whether online or off the biggest challenge is still finding customers willing to purchase your products on an ongoing basis to create your residual income. Building a loyal customer base will bring stability to your business but a customer is after all someone just like you or me that purchases product when they need it. Most companies online today have found a small fix for the customer regular reorder by making it mandatory for distributors, affiliate members or independent representatives to have a monthly personal order in order to qualify for commissions on sales they make. It is not uncommon for the amount of product required to meet the qualifications for commissions to increase as the sales and commisions increase. This is definitely good for the parent company sales but not necessarily good for the new business owner who has to purchase product before they can make money online now.
These types of companies rely heavily on the distributors to start their business from their own circle of influence. How many times have you been told that you need to make a list of everyone you know, at least a hundred names or more, and then contact them and ask them to look at or purchase your product. You can make money online if you do this, but what happens if they dont like your product or you run out of people you know before you start to make any money to speak of. Generally people trying to build a business will get frustrated and quit at this point only to move on to another business hoping to make money online now.
Knowledge and good business practices can help you avoid some of the pitfalls. Personally I have found a company that generates the customers and makes them available to their Business Affiliates to purchase them. There is no requirement but it sure mades sense to me. It s branded as Duplication and you are told to follow it to the letter. But is it the way? How many friends have any of us lost recommending a restaurant or movie? Then, how many friends have been lost recommending your latest Network Marketing opportunity? And how many of these have you offered to these friends in the past few years?
The dream of financial freedom is stronger than ever! Friends want to believe that this just might be it! Then they fail. That s when they feel abused. They trusted in you, bought in, and then discovered that they can t sell. They get mad at themselves and then mad at you! I can t believe I let you talk me into this! I must have had a stupid moment to have believed you! There goes the invitation to the next family barbecue!!!
Don’t let anyone convince you that it is easy to make money online, it isn’t hard either. It just takes commitment on your part as well as a desire like you probably have never had before. Stick with it, find your WHY and you will get there.

Why are so many people interested in trying to make money online? I would guess there are millions of everyday folks out there searching for a legitimate way to make money online. What makes everyone so interested?
I found myself looking for a way to make money online as I wanted a few extra dollars to throw into my retirement investments and I didn’t have the capital to start a brick and mortar business .

Another reason to develop a business to make money online is if you know what you are doing, you can pretty much put your earnings on autopilot in a short period of time compared to developing a bricks and mortar offline business.
